The Sheep And the Pie
once upon two years ago
there was a sheep named Dennis
and with his sister Ella
he took a motorboat to Venice.
except, the boat wasn't very new
--at least the had the scenic view
but when it started to splutter and lurch
they looked for an island
the searched and the searched!
the boat filled with water
they spotted an otter
but poor tired Ella
she started cry
"ew" sobbed Dennis
"we're all gonna die!"
said Ella, "we better now eat that pie,"
they speedily, frantically opened their pouch
"Dennis now eat it!" screamed Ella the Grouch.
The boat was to sink
they were gonna explode
but alas, who they spotted was Fredrick the toad!
"please save us," cried Dennis, filled with hope and despair,
but all Fredrick did was to stare and to glare.
Down sunk the poor sheepies
Bellies stuffed with peach pie
and they cried. and cried.
The End
The Cow and the Platypus
There once was a platypus named Peg.
She tried to lay a speckled egg.
The egg was cracked
and green and blue
So she tried to use some glue.
It worked just fine,
for a couple hours
Peg laid the egg on a bed of flowers.
She heard a pop
Peg spluttered "gosh, wow"
Out had came
a speckled cow.
She named him Jolene
he was slimy and lean
He mooed hello
"my name, you see, is James Monroe"
"Alright," quacked Peg, "I guess I'm your mom"
Lets," she said, "go see uncle Tom"
so off they did amble
the platypus and cow
through the meadows and through the town.
Jolene and the Pickle (I did this 2 years ago so it isn't that great sorry)
so, I tried to buy some pickles
but they said all they had was dill
the guy in the hat said there was
a pickleshop up the hill.
so I rode my gluttonous cow Jolene
up that winding road
until we came to the pickleshop
--the owner was a toad
"blharb" she croaked,
"no alpacas allowed"
But, I said, Jolene is a cow!
"well alright," said the toad, "let him have a pickle"
so I bought him one with a grimy green nickel
but--Jolene! Oh, what a scene!
Off he ran!
Without a plan
Jolene escaped to go live in Japan.
The End.
(I will update this as soon as I write some more poems)
👏👏👏
